Kawartha Furniture has been in business for almost ten years, serving both families and businesses in Peterborough and the surrounding Kawartha's. We are family owned and operated and support “shop local.” Kawartha Furniture was founded by Malcolm Burton (1962-2006). The new owners of the store, after the passing of Malcolm in 2006, are Lisa and Barry Killen along with their children Zach and Paige Burton.
Our store carries a variety of furniture, ranging from new mattesses and custom order sofas and chairs to gently used furniture. We also carry an interesting variety of antiques. We also offer a limited selection of new furniture.

We purchase from a variety of sources including estates, private sales, referrals, trade-ins, auction sales, basically anywhere we can find good used furnishings or quality antiques at prices which allow us to offer for re-sale to our customers at fair prices.
